You will never walk alone
Along life's road
There will be sunshine and rain
Roses and thorns, laughter and pain
And 'cross the miles
You will face mountains so steep
Deserts so long and valleys so deep
Sometimes the Journey's gentle
Sometimes the cold winds blow
But I want you to remember
I want you to know
(Chorus)
(Chorus)
You will never walk alone
As long as you have faith
Jesus will be right beside you all the way
And you may feel you're far from home
But home is where He is
And He'll be there down every road
You will never walk alone
never, no never
The path will wind
And you will find wonders and fears
Labors of love and a few falling tears
Across the years
There will be some twists and turns
Mistakes to make and lessons to learn
Sometimes the journey's gentle
Sometimes the cold winds blow
But I want you to remember wherever you may go
(Repeat Chorus)
Jesus knows your joy, Jesus knows your need
He will go the distance with you faithfully
(Repeat Chorus)
Passion Concert 21.10.08
Hey all
I watched a great concert yesterday... it was by Chris Tomlin's Passion band whose aim is to make Jesus name famous in our generation...
and I really need to say this...he did his job really well :)
check this out...
I love this song: How Great is Our God...
To give you a little background, that was my first praise & worship concert I've ever attended...
I came from a Catholic family background and I was baptised since I was really young...
I normally go to church every Sunday and I've always had my faith in God...
I just wasn't someone who likes to listen to gospel music and I'd probably go to church for the sake of fulfilling my duty being a good Catholic...
My life was pretty decent...so it's not that I came from a broken family that would put me into a really bad life... but I wasn't that happy before... I always felt that I'm lacking in something... like I haven't achieved anything... I always wanted more and more and I barely can say to myself "You've done a great job Deb!"
Just last year I was always touched when I listened to the songs sung in my local church... it made me want to be involved more in their local community... but I was never able to attend to one of their bible study or I wasn't brave enough to commit...
Yes, I was still with my x bf at that time... I also studied part time at uni and did full time work... it might actually scare me a little bit.. so I ignored that feeling...
After coming back from my 3mths holiday, I came to Sydney and I thought well I have no bf anymore (since we broke up last year) and I only have work to focus on...
I started to think that I needed to contribute back to my society or at least share the talents that God has given me with the people around me...
Then I met my friend who just migrated to Sydney and he told me I would always be welcome if I want to join this church community...
And since then, I tried to give more of my time for God and try to know Him better...
I tried to change the way I used to be and try to be the person He would like me to be...
Sorry if my story is a little off topic here but I'd like to share a bit of my life story...
I'm not a good story teller but what I'm trying to say is that God has changed me little by little...
I could see the difference between my old and new life...
I've been happier and appreciate my life more than before... I believe that He would give what I asked at the right time...
I still don't know what I wanna be in my life... but I know that I want to be happy and by appreciating every little gift in your life and being thankful for that little thing that happened in our life, we would feel happier in our lives...
That was my little background why I started to be involved more in a church community... hehe
Anyway...
I honestly still think I'm too far from being a good person...
But when I think God has given A LOT to me, I think I should always try hard to be a better person every day and try to please Him :)
Thank you Lord :)

Sharing Time - WYD
I got this message from one of my mailing lists...
I like it and that's why I want to share it with you guys...
So this sharing message came after WYD08 ended few weeks ago...
I'm sure we all can still feel the warmth and merriment of the event even until now :)
I don't want to copy and paste the whole message, I'll just copy some of his message that I like..
He said:
I enjoy and am proud to the fact that the Catholic faith embraces other faiths - as our leader shown in his attempt to unify religions and other Christian denominations. I can't quote him directly, but he said along the lines that "All religions have the power to be one. If they choose to do so."
Doesn't the world become a wonderful Utopia if all faiths are united in one? I experienced a very small part of Buddhism when I was in India, and also from my own family who some are still buddhist. I must say that the moral values taught and the dedication to their deity is very similar or fundamentally "equal" to our own Catholic faith. Obviously I only barely scratched the surface of an equally diverse and culturally rich religion (there are also many denominations in Buddhism) - and some Catholic and Buddhist theologians would probably have a contrasting opinion, but why are we always focusing on those differences between faiths instead of focusing on creating a society where there is mutual respect between faiths? From my somewhat limited experience of other religions, I always see a doctrine that perpetuates love, respect, kindness and abhors violence and evil acts. Why then, must we squabble over petty differences? As we move towards a society that respects different cultures, surely we can respect other faiths and their uniqueness?
I really agree with this person. From what I understand, many religions teach us the same or at least similar good deeds so yeah WHY do we have to focus on our differences? Why do we have to fight with each other? We're all human...why don't we respect each other? Just like a marriage...in order for a marriage to work (not that I've experienced this :p) a couple should strive to understand and respect each other... if two people need that respect and compromise to bring warmth into the family...a world of millions of people OBVIOUSLY need MORE respect and compromise to make this whole world a peaceful world for people to live right?
Another good message:
A God who severely punishes those who are born into a loving and devout family who believe in other non-Christian religions surely cannot be a loving and just God that we love so much?
Agree on this too. One of the seminar that I attended taught me that there are still salvations outside Catholic... so yeah I do believe that our God is a loving God that will always treasure good people :)
This post is not written to show how good my belief is... I just want to share my thoughts and feelings :)
Let's respect each other...I believe everyone in this world has good morale...let's treat each other with respect and caring so that we can walk hand in hand to make this world a better place :)

Why?
I don't know this lady very well...
I know her name and I know what she looks like...she's pretty and elegant :) She's nice and simple...
Only one thing I know about her for sure, she's able to make someone happy...
She's gonna leave soon...not that she's going to migrate or leave the country but she's gonna leave him... she's gonna go away from him, from her true love...
Why she's doing that? I can't tell you why coz she didn't even tell him why...
I really want to tell her to stop, I really want the world to stop moving for a while... I want them to be together even for few minutes...few seconds...I want them to feel the true happiness even for a while...
Why two people who are in love with each other can't be together?
Are they not being together is partly my fault? Is there karma for doing things?
Only if I have the power to make him happy...

Lousy Friday
Heya! I haven't blogged for more than a month now :( Sorry if I'm slack :|
I've been busy though... I am serious, I was sooo busy with work, with World Youth Day in Sydney, and busy going out with my friends who came from overseas... some of them came to Syd to attend WYD08 but some of them just came for a holiday...
Yes I need to rest as I almost got sick again... :(
Considering I've taken 4 sick leaves since the mid Feb this year, I don't think I should or can take another sick leave for the time being... so yeah TAKE A REST DEB! -__-
Back to what I was gonna say in this post... I was going to talk about my experience in WYD08 but am still waiting for the pictures that my friends took during the week hehehe... I brought my camera along actually but I think it's a bit broken... like the quality wasn't that good anymore... hmmm I've got it since late 2004, it has done its job nicely hehe... so yeah will wait until I get all the pics and will post some of them as well here :)
ANYWAY... while I'm blogging this right now, one of my colleague just approached me and told me about some random videos that show mobile popcorn... it shows you that popcorns can be made using 4 mobiles...
You just need to place the corn in the middle of 4 mobile phones and ring all 4 of them... when all of them ring, the corns will start popping and you can start eating them hehe...
I watched those videos and didn't realise that my manager was right behind me :( he asked me what I am watching and he didn't seem happy :( My team leader then told everyone that we should know when my manager is around, we should be more careful of what we're doing 0_0 coz he has concerns over internet security etc... :( i feel really bad now :((((
Oh well, I can't do anything for now but I should be more careful next time :) cheer up deb!!!
I'm gonna go now and have a nice dinner with my friend from Indo... will share my experience in WYD08 soon!!! See you!

An update from debii zama
Been busy at work... been busy at home... been busy in the community....
NO, I don't make things up.... I am busy :P
Tomorrow is my friend's bday but I guess I can't give her a surprise party tonight @ 12 AM.... it'll be too late for me to go... I have a lot of work tomorrow so I don't think I can spare some time tonight :( I need to sleep :(
I do feel bad rejecting the idea though... man...
Anyway, I'm in the middle of preparing the upcoming SPJ birthday now... oh wells I don't think I've ever mentioned SPJ in my blog before...
SPJ stands for St. Peter Julian... it's a church's name in the city... and that's where I spend most of my time now...
When I first joined SPJ, people asked me if I just came from Indo or if I was active in other community and they were wondering why I joined them... hmm...unfortunately I had to say the truth... I've never joined such community before... I am a Catholic, I went to church most of the weekends but skipped some of them too...
I guess I am not a bad person or a person who had extreme experience in the past that really needs help from other people... so I won't see myself joining a church community to be something extraordinary...
I've been thinking of joining this kind of community for a while... I just couldn't allocate some time for this before...
I am still busy now, even if I weren't involved in this community... but I guess people can make some time once they've set their mind on it...
So yeah, I think the reason why I joined SPJ was because I wanted to return God's favour to me... He's been helping me since I was born til I am typing this blog now... so I think at least I should give something back to Him :) I guess meeting different types of people involved in that community also makes it more interesting... :)
That's the short story why I joined a church community now...
Anyway, I was just going to say that I am in the middle of the preparation and now am just in the middle of a discussion with my friend hehehe... I should've paid more attention on the discussion yet I'm blogging instead :P LOL...
Have a good night peoples!!!
